How we handle information

Privacy Policy

This notice explains what information Air Fryer Guide may process, why it is used and the choices available to visitors.

Air Fryer Guide is the public-facing identity responsible for this website. Privacy enquiries can be sent through the protected Contact form; the recipient address is intentionally kept out of page source to reduce spam.

Data currently involved

Our hosting provider may create security and access logs containing an IP address, request time, browser information and requested URL. These records are used to operate and protect the website.

Contact data after activation

When you use the contact form, we process the name, email address, subject and message you provide so we can review and answer the enquiry. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

Cookies and external services

No analytics or advertising service is configured. Affiliate tracking and embedded third-party services must be added to this notice before activation.

Sharing and retention

Spaceship hosting, Spacemail and the receiving email provider may process limited information on our behalf. Routine contact messages are normally reviewed for deletion within 12 months after the enquiry is resolved, but may be kept longer where reasonably needed for an editorial correction record, security investigation or legal obligation.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Use the protected Contact form to make a request. You may also raise an unresolved concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

Material service changes require a new data-flow and cookie review before deployment.

Contact information and purpose

Air Fryer Guide is the public-facing identity responsible for this website. The protected Contact form is the privacy contact route and keeps the receiving address out of page source. Spaceship hosting, Spacemail and the receiving email provider process the limited information needed to deliver and answer enquiries.

The contact form collects only the fields needed to understand and answer an enquiry. It has no marketing opt-in and does not store message content as a WordPress submission. Messages are transmitted through an authenticated domain mailbox and may remain in the domain and receiving mailboxes under the retention criteria described above.

Security, logs and abuse prevention

A production host will normally process request details such as IP address, time, browser information and requested path for delivery, diagnosis and security. The final notice must reflect the selected host's actual log retention and access arrangements.

Rate limiting may use a short-lived keyed representation of an IP address to reduce automated form abuse. It should not expose the original address in a public report or retain message content for analytics.

Future services

Analytics, advertising, embedded media and affiliate tracking are not active. Before any is introduced, the service registry, privacy notice and cookie assessment must be updated. Where consent is required, the technology must remain blocked until a valid choice is made.

A material service change is a data-governance change, not merely a plugin installation. The owner must document purpose, provider, information involved, recipients, international transfers where relevant, retention and user controls.
