Analytics and advertising
These categories are not configured and must remain blocked. If introduced later, the site must provide equally clear accept and reject controls before setting non-essential storage.
Affiliate links
No real affiliate tracking links are installed. Future merchant clicks may involve the merchant's own technology and require an updated policy and consent assessment.
Changing preferences
A dormant consent framework is prepared for future non-essential services. A preference control should be activated only when there is a real choice to manage.
How technology is assessed
The review covers browser cookies, local and session storage, tracking pixels, embedded resources and other mechanisms that store or access information on a device. A technology is classified by its actual purpose rather than the label supplied by a plugin vendor.
Strictly necessary technology must be limited to what is required to deliver a requested function or protect the service. Convenience, audience measurement and advertising do not become necessary merely because they benefit the publisher.
Consent design if services change
If non-essential technology is added, it must be blocked before consent. Accept and reject choices should be equally clear, granular preferences should remain available, and withdrawing consent should be no harder than giving it.
The current absence of non-essential cookies means an intrusive banner would provide no genuine choice. A consent interface will be activated only alongside a documented service that requires it.
Checks after launch
Cookie and storage scans should be repeated after plugin, analytics, advertising, affiliate or embedded-media changes. Unexpected technology is classified as unknown and blocked until its purpose and legal treatment are understood.
